26th

We went to a street party put on by the Little Toad Creek brewery. Part of Bullard Street was blocked off. Had good live music playing old songs.

The amber beer was delicious. The food was only so-so.

Today is my birthday. I’ll meditate and think how did I reach this stage in life. hoho A lot haven’t.
We may celebrate by going to the “Cat Walk” about 40 miles North on rt180. It is a walkway suspended from the side of an extremely narrow canyon. Early silver miners had a big pipe there carrying water to wash out the silver. The CCC built the walk in the 30’s.

Celebrate EVERY day, Nelson! Meditation is good to clear the boards and move to the next act. Enjoy your Cat Walk!

    Best, Susan

Life is always flowing on like a river, sometimes with murmurs, sometimes without bending this way or that, we do no exactly see why; now in beautiful picturesque places, now through barren and uninteresting scenes, but always flowing with a look of treachery about it; it is so swift, so voiceless, yet so continuous. –Faber
