Cloudy this evening. It may rain. A rarity.. Everything is going smoothly with our home buying adventure. Wells Fargo seems tickled to death to loan us money at 4.7% for 30 years.. I’ll be 111 when it is paid off, Jeanne will be 103. hoho

Love to ALL

Sounds like you are both having a great time.   What kind of house are you buying and where?

Cold here today & I just fell little while ago on the ice.  Luckily I had pant liners under my jean, plus boots, so it probably kept me from being hurt bad.  Probably will be sore tomorrow.

    Hi Nelson,

A friend of ours from church just refinanced his house at 3 % from a credit union he belongs to–I think for government employees. You might be able to get a lower rate than 4.7. I don’t know if our local banks would do mortgages out of state, but ours with First Shore Federal here in the neighborhood is 3.75. We refinanced it about a year ago. I’ve found that if you come up with a lower rate somewhere else, the bank you are dealing with will sometimes come down (competition).

    Happy house buying!
