Thursday after a nice rain on Wednesday, I planted;

  • 20 cayenne peppers.
  • 9 Thai hot peppers
  • 3 cubanelle peppers
  • 3 coosa squash. (a pale green Lebanese variety)
  • 4 pickling cucumbers
  • 6 honey dew melons
  • 15 leftover broccoli
  • Carrots


  • two endless summer tomatoes
  • two lunchmate tomatoes
  • two cherokee black tomatoes
  • 16 unknown tomatoes
  • 6 Thai very hot peppers
  • basil
  • cilantro
  • parsley
  • 4 french melons
  • 10 honey dews from Guatemala
  • 8 Burpee Organic tomatoes
  • 6 red lightning tomatoes (red striped)
  • 12 summer salsa.

Tomorrow is my writers meeting. Afterwards I’ll go to Southern States for more plants.
I need sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, lima bean seeds and sweet peppers. Of course I’ll come home with at least a dozen tomatoes.
