planating

4/7 A lovely day to plant seedlings.
I planted 110 red cippolini onions. I started them from seeds on 3/21. Jeanne loves these on the grill. They are a small flat (button) type.
50 cauliflowers from two varieties. Snow white and something else. hoho Last year was exceedingly dry and my cauliflower wasn’t worth eating.
40 bloomsdale spinach.
50 broccoli.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I’m planting white cippolini onions, lettuce, and detroit red and paonazza d egitto beets. Jeanne’s canned beets are delicious.
Our last average frost date is April 18th. So tomatoes, peppers, melons and such won’t be planted until the last week of April and the first week of May.
