We loafed this morning in Roswell. At ten we drove to Bottomless Lakes State Park. It was excellent and no traffic. The lakes are sink holes and near the Pecos river.
Then we went to the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge. A lot of Snow Geese, ducks and Sand Hill Cranes.
The best part was you could drive around and through it. Stop at Look Outs and take a few pictures. We turned Clyde loose. He and I climbed a few mountain trails. We are both too old to climb too much.
Jeanne dropped me off at the UFO museum for an hour. She went to a park and walked Clyde. The museum was OK. Lots of old newspapers and photos
Love to ALL
